    The whole team & dogs/cats were safely 300m inside the airport perimeter. We were turned away as @JoeBiden @POTUS had changed paperwork rules just 2 hours earlier. Went through hell to get there & we were turned away into the chaos of those devastating explosions. #OperationArk

    Yes I managed to get the animals of @Nowzad on a flight to safety. I couldn’t take my staff as the Taliban put an AK47 in my face & told me they were staying. Not much I could do. BUT that does not mean we have given up. It was always and will BE ‘people & animals’ #OperationArk

    Our team that stayed behind in Kabul have opened the doors of the clinic & received their first emergency case. With no access to money the owner brought the team flowers to say thank you! Made our day! #nowzad #dogs #dogsoftwitter

    People & animals was deal for #operationark @nowzadrescue family made it possible🙏🏼& whilst #dogs & #cats arrived weeks ago staff have been arriving in groups to UK. Made me cry if honest seeing this photo. 🙏🏼 to all❤️ @PeterEgan6 @domdyer70 We should all be so proud of this!

    A difficult year for so many but for sure Nowzad staff, their families & almost 200 animals in #OperationArk would not have this Christmas in the UK without all the incredible support we had from you all Shammi #Dog & Fanta #Cat are 2 of the lucky ones😁 🙏🏼& Happy Christmas 🎅

    Our handsome boy Oscar is still looking for a home. This 12 year old boy has spent many years with us since being rescued as a young dog. He was found with his ears already cropped but we think you’ll agree his happy smile and bright eyes show he has a lot of love to give.

    The @Nowzad #OperationArk was ‘people&animals’. No-one was prevented from boarding a flight due to our rescue Behind me (on left) Kabul airport runway was empty for 3 hours at a time Only 2 ✈️at a time were parked for most of the 24hrs I waited for our privately funded aircraft.
