    so much of Black queer film from the 90s and 2000s is already lost to time. i’ve discovered so many titles this week and they aren’t streaming anywhere. i’ve been cold emailing directors and even editors for directors who are no longer with us. no luck so far very disheartening

    van gogh’s brother, theo, was his number one supporter. not only did he pay for his brother to spend time making art, he also kept every single letter his brother ever sent him leaving us with everything we know about van gogh now. theo died of heartbreak a month after vincent.
