The CEO did not get $193mn in cash, they got $600k, which in other places is the salary of a senior dev. The remaining was stock, no value till IPO. Giving out stock does not change profitability. Clickbait articles purposely only list total comp without breakdown for outrage.

At my college, in my time, all internet access was through an http proxy with a 2GB monthly limit. Figuring out workarounds for that was our rite of passage. The antics we pulled forced the university to put each hostel on a separate subnet and install managed routers 😂

The only difference between the US and the rest of the world is that in the US you'll hear the citizens talk about how racist they are and how they should be better. Literally no other country has a culture like this.

What I want to know is why aren't their opponents in politics using this (and Mexico/Panama comments by Trump) as an opportunity to champion Puerto Rico statehood? That's one thing that could actually happen if it gains enough momentum.

Dev costs 10x'd for no good reason. AAA game studios did this to themselves. I stopped buying AAA games on release years ago, I wait for 70%-off sales, which usually take 4-5 years.
