There 34 new cases that have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 bringing the total number of #COVID19 cases to 274. We urge the public to continue practicing preventive measures such as social distancing, hand hygiene and cough etiquette.

#Monkeypox spreads through close contact such as kissing, cuddling, or touching parts of the body with monkeypox lesions (wound). The virus is not very contagious and does not spread in the same way as viruses such as flu and COVID-19. Read more here nicd.ac.za/heres-what-you…

#COVID19SouthAfrica Update. As of this morning, 18 March 2020, South Africa now has 116 confirmed cases of #COVID19. We confirm that there has been an increase of 31 new cases from the 17 March update.

Cases of #COVID19 are increasing and transmission is on-going in South Africa. As of 26 March, 218 new cases of #COVID19 are confirmed. As we approach the national lockdown period of 21 days, we remind everyone that human behavior is key to preventing the spread of the virus.
