The launch of the Central Bank Digital Ruble (CBDR) on Aug 15th is #Russia looking to #blockchain technologies as a way to mitigate economic #sanctions and reduce dependence on the US dollar. It also makes electronic payments cheaper and cross border transfers easier. @ASPI_DC
