We've released a new big-batch draft mode for V8.1. This new mode lets you generate 24 lower resolution images at the half the price of a Standard res 4-image Midjourney Job. When you like an image just press "Vary" to get new versions at full resolution. Enjoy!

We've made V8.1 the new default model for all users on Midjourney. V8 will now be deprecated in 2 weeks. V8.2 will start testing extremely soon.

Small update today. Many requested a "anti-prompting" feature for V8 models (which existed in previous versions) which we call the --no flag. This is now available today in V8.1! So if you're trying to get something out of your images (like people) try --no people. Have fun!

Two quick announcements - We've pushed an update that improves V8.1 image quality and sharpness, particularly with SREFs, moodboards and HD images, but you should notice it globally too! Secondly, V8.1 is now available on our main website as well as Discord. Enjoy!

Two quick updates for V8 (1) Relax mode is now available for V8 (2) We've put up a new version of SREF / Moodboards which is 4x faster, 4x cheaper, supports HD mode, personalization, --stylize, and --exp. Note: If you want to use the old version just type --sv 6 new is --sv 7

Today we're starting to test an early version of our V8 model with our community. It's much better at following prompts, 5x faster, has native 2K modes, improved text rendering and the best personalization, sref, and moodboard performance ever. Have fun!

A few small updates today - we've added Moodboards and Personalization to Niji V7. We've released a much better web interface for Personalization. And we are sunsetting web rooms as we work on next-gen collab tools (which should make the whole site feel noticeably faster). Enjoy!
