- My BIOL 424 Marine Phys Lab visited Holdfast Aquaculture today to learn about the process of making oyster and mussel “seed.” This semester we focus on food sustainability to mitigate climate change. Thanks Holdfast for showing us around!
- I shared my labs work on osmotic tolerance in mussels at #wsn2023 . I was also the Chair of the DEIC, we hosted a symposium, mixers, and mentorship program. It was great to celebrate our achievements by dancing and getting silly on the last night. Until next year in Portland!
- LMU students shared their research at the 2023 Western Society of Naturalist Conference! The Vasquez and Bittick Lab students presented on sea grass and mussel physiology. Great job everyone!
