    I am getting very annoyed by the complete misunderstanding of currency manipulation. NO it is not the reason we have a weak currency. It happened 6 years ago and had to do with short-term price manipulation. I need to write an article to explain in layperson terms...

    Dear @tito_mboweni and @EdKieswetter I have just paid my provisional tax. I would like it spent on improving education, better railway systems, decent healthcare, reducing crime & if any left, supporting the arts. I really do not want it spent on Minister's cars & suits

    I get a call from a woman claiming to be from the "South African government data center" who can assist me with my credit issues if I just give her my ID number. I ask her who she is really working for as this SA data center does not exist. She says Belpeak Investments, and

    If @CyrilRamaphosa is to slowly allow business to start operating, to avoid lobbying it should not be based on selecting sectors but rather set health&safety standards. Those that can comply can operate. Every business is “essential” to those who rely on it for income

    Just received an email from a teacher aged 58 retiring from the @GEPF_SA . He receives R1.6 million gratuity plus R37 000 income for life increasing with inflation. This is the value of leaving your retirement funds to grow.

    The National Consumer Commission has hit Vodacom with a R1 million fine for charging a 75% cancellation penalty on sim-only contracts. Vodacom refused to cancel the contract unless the 75% penalty was paid. This is in contravention of the Consumer Protection Act. Frankly,

    I am absolutely terrified of the discussions around a state of disaster for electricity. After our covid experience of not being able to buy open-toed shoes, hot food and the irrational smoking ban. What would they come up with now!!

    Having stand-off with bank. They call me and want me to verify my identity but won't say why they are calling until they verify me. But how do I know it's them? There are so many phising scams. We need a better system...

    You need to check with your bank if you have credit insurance but I can tell you that @CapitecBankSA & @AfricanBank cover pays the premium, up to 12 months, for clients on short time or compulsory unpaid leave where the reduction in basic income is 20% or more.

    Announcement by @Discovery_SA Life that it will give higher PayBack rewards to clients who are vaccinated. Also have warned that those who do not vaccinate may be subject to higher risk rating on premiums due to increased risk. This is going to cause a rumpus with anti-vaxxers
