- All 3 remaining mature elm trees in Millfields have finally succumbed to Dutch elm 😞 gutted, these have held out for 40 years or more
- New piece in @TheConversation on work led by @mirodemol and @SylveraCarbon, out now in @CommsEarth, showing that some dry tropical forests may store twice as much aboveground carbon as thought
- New work out led by @mirodemol and @SylveraCarbon colleagues showing Mozambican miombo woodlands contain 1.5 - 2.2 x more C than previously thought. Study uses new multiscale approach w census, terrestrial, UAV and 50 kha airborne lidar. OA
