BREAKING - 31,000 migrants have now crossed the English Channel illegally this year, 850+ in the past 24 hours. It comes as another three migrants drowned while trying to reach the UK early today. 2,023 have crossed to the UK since Shabana Mahmood became Home Secretary

BREAKING - While attention was understandably focussed on British Steel today, a daily record of 623 small boat migrants crossed illegally from France. The highest daily total had been 592 on 3rd March. Dover lifeboat was called to assist Border Force respond to multiple calls.

Interesting that BBC News devoted a whole report on their One o'clock news to @RupertLowe10 misidentifying charity rowers as migrants. Yet, no mention of the almost 400 actual small boat migrants who've crossed the Channel since the start of the Government's new returns deal.

What a shame that @YvetteCooperMP has refused to come on @GBNEWS Breakfast this morning to explain her plans to tackle immigration given the importance of the issue to our viewers. The Home Secretary has spoken to all other broadcasters this morning.

BREAKING - Packed from front to back, the first Border Force vessel in to Dover this morning with 166 migrants onboard. Hundreds more are currently crossing the Channel. So far, the UK Government has succeeded in returning two small boat migrants to France.

Almost 1,900 small boat migrants have crossed the Channel illegally since last Sunday. We have a few days of windy weather ahead, the only thing that will give Keir Starmer some respite from the daily surge in arrivals. Demonstrably ‘smash the gangs’ just isn’t working.

BREAKING - Detectives investigating the disappearance of Sarah Everard in London have tonight arrested a serving Metropolitan police officer. The man was arrested at an address in Kent. Police have described the arrest as a “significant development.”

BREAKING - 1,500 Channel migrants have crossed illegally from France since Thursday. For the third straight day, hundreds more are crossing into UK waters. The total for the year is now over 38,500 - That figure is well ahead of the 36,816 who arrived during the whole of 2024

At Dover harbour, police have arrested one man who regularly films the arrival of those intercepted on small boats in the English Channel. It only cements the perception that authorities don’t want people to see the true extent of what is a growing crisis.
