    It is my understanding Ireland is about to make a motion to the European body governing soccer to ban Israel from playing in European soccer tournaments.   Ireland and others would be punishing the Jewish people 80 years after the Holocaust because they choose to fight back

    Shamrock Rovers drawing 1-1 away to a team that, in their last European game, beat Aberdeen 6-0 is something that should be hailed from every single rooftop. But results like this are no longer a novelty. This is a wonderful time to be an Irish (club) football fan.

    The only satisfactory outcome to this latest effort by Irish football to custard pie itself in the face is that Stephen Kenny gets full backing from the FAI to purge from his orbit anyone who would try to undermine him in such a slapstick manner. An absolute farce.
