I was anxiety-knitting at the @Phillies game when the very delco guy (60s) behind me tapped me on the shoulder: “I just wanted to thank you. my mom would knit and drink beers and watch the phils too. The only thing missing is a cigarette in your hand. This was a nice reminder.”

There have been a lot of arguments for using AI to help with outlining/transitions/the “hard” parts of writing but tbh I think it’s just as bad to eliminate the part of the process that forces you to think through the structure and weight of an argument !!!!!

I’d like you all to know that the best bagel store in my hometown (there are many) has reopened after many years (a maserati drove through it) and the first thing I heard was a perfect Long Island accent saying “it takes seven years to reopen and your fuckin’ door still sticks.”
