I left Nigeria few years ago and my mom would tell me things are expensive but my head couldn’t comprehend it (I multiply it by 2 worst case scenario), at some point, I thought she just wanted more money for herself. I just got back from Nigeria & I owe her an apology. 😭

How do niggas in this country deal with the fact that babes are so bent on being taken somewhere nice without considering maybe your finances isn’t straight? I’ve found myself making excuses when I’m broke but a lot of men can’t say no because I know how it looks.
