I'm not particularly worried about people being one-shotted by the 6D mesoamerican demon when taking ayahuasca I'm much more worried about people already having been one-shotted by the 2D infinite scroll demon in their hands that lets them avoid feeling uncomfortable on demand

I bought a fancy expensive mouse and it almost pains me how much better it is to use than any other mouse I’ve used before one of those quality of life upgrades that you don’t realise is so good until you experience it (Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac for the curious)

isn’t it incredible that houses have pipes that carry clean water in and dirty water out and all you have to do is open a tap or push a button? and that the networks that do this are built and operated by people and they run perfectly basically all the time?

as I approach 37 I’m realising that one’s 30s are for paying close attention to how one’s body is likely to fall apart if not corrected, and then to be diligent about not letting it fall apart in those specific ways

it's really frustrating that there exists a class of interesting topics that are essentially off limits for sensible discussion because they've been adopted by 'conspiracy theorists' one of these that interests me is the interaction of electromagnetic fields with human biology
