Years ago I was sobbing in Union Square for ludicrous reasons that felt world-ending at the time, and a young man in a sensible suit stopped and asked if I was ok. I mumble-nodded-shook my head, so he just stood there until I'd pulled myself together, then nodded and walked off.

I worry about how much that is misogyny. I still don't understand the Hillary hatred, to this very day. I mean, I get have issues with certain of her policies, but the outrage? That seems fueled purely by hatred of women.

But it’s not all hidden away though. That’s the problem. He is a racist misogynist who disrespects every contract he’s ever had, ruins lives for sport, has never had empathy and is now plagued with (at least) dementia. It’s all out there in the wide open. That’s why we’re fucked.

Was biking down the rail trail and this woman yelled at me (well, at everyone), “You’re ruining a beautiful day, take off your mask!!” To which I replied, with all the eloquence I could muster, “FUCK YOU!” Not my finest hour. But, you know, fuck her.
