The sad news of Karanja Kabage’s passing on reached me this morning. KK, as we all affectionately called him, was doing his PhD under my supervision together with Prof Da Silva & Dundee’s Prof Nathalie Horbach. He was committed, disciplined.

@CHOGM2022 was amazing!! #Rwanda kicked it out of the park. Deep lessons, much reflection & clear objectives. We had time to speak, work, negotiate, eat, pray & dance.. all in an atmosphere of deep respect for different views & backgrounds!
