    Acceleration day: Intensive horizontal/lateral jump/bound A series Resisted march-bound Resisted 1 & 3 step repeats 4 step accel Resisted run Small sided games 60 min. Threw some fun in there at the end.

    NFL Off-season Day 4: Drops Intensive Vertical Bounds Scissors Dribble bleeds Light resisted run 2x3 10 build 10 fly x 3 135° angled cut x 4 Goal was 90-95% of their peak speed today. We limited fly distance as it’s week 1. Fastest runs came in angled cuts

    Half-kneeling 2 step accelerations are a great drill to develop the specific strength qualities to overcome your bodyweight from a static position. It requires a violent and aggressive push that trains strength in early acceleration.

    In 2007 I was traveling 120 mph in the backseat of a car with no seatbelt. We lost control and started sliding towards a highway on-ramp barrier. My friend on the left was going to take the impact. I threw her to the other side of the car (continued in thread)
