    Me on BBC Scotland: I'm not convinced that the majority of Scots actually want a second independence referendum right now and I don't believe that an independent Scotland would make the majority of people better off. These points matter. 250000 Scottish kids live in poverty.

    We're fed up with referendums. There is no majority for Scottish independence. Nicola Sturgeon should, for once, focus on the day to day job of governing our country and improving public services. bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod…

    I found myself a teenage single mum in 1999. Under Labour I received working families and childcare tax credits which got me back on my feet. I dread to think what would've happened under the Tories. Don't let anyone tell you Labour and Tory governments are the same.

    With everything going on in Scottish politics you have to question: has there ever been a more patronising line than *you yes yet?* Implying that folk who didn’t agree with the SNP were daft and that it was only a matter of time before your mind would be changed.

    Nearly 250000 kids are living in poverty in Scotland but Scottish Nationalism is different to all other kinds of nationalism and it’s definitely not about flags. Got it?

    Scots were asked in 2014 whether they wanted independence. They were offered a white paper prospectus and rejected it. The matter is settled. I’m focused on fighting for Labour Governments in Holyrood and Westminster.
