I think it also depends on culture - in the western world there’s a lot of emphasis on the “individual” sometimes at the expense of the collective. I grew up in Pakistan - our culture emphasizes alot on the collective. Multi - generational families living together, close
My wife is from China. Alot of couples aren't having kids because they've moved away from parents and there's no childcare ... I def think these are connected factors.

Yeah I’ve heard European countries are far more family cantered and less “work obsessed” then American / North American folks. Canada does have better family policies and we recently have had some government programs to help with child care subsidies

And spending $$$ on childcare which leads to financial stress + summer camps and that camp and this camp. I think it’s important to children to socialize etc but I know someone who sends their 5 year old to private school that costs an arm and a leg..
Yo I don’t know who needs to hear this but it’s totally ok not to “have a personal brand”. Just do the work and focus on what’s important to you. Too much of *marketing* and *tech* social has become a p$$$ing contest to prove your smarter then everyone else in the room.
