Just spoke with a college coach. The difference between a 2.99/19 & a 3.0/20 is $8,000. I cant overstate how important your grades are. The class you blow off and get a C/D in could cost you close to 10K. I’m just saying @MacStephens
They called her hijab a “head band” & told her she couldn’t wear long sleeve. She said she wasn’t changing & scored 20. The insane comments people make about her are why I respect @DreKnott@egoldie80 & @camijustice for the nonsense they get in their DM @MacStephens@PCA_Virtue
Players won’t go to camps, visit schools or take the ACT/SAT because they say they don’t have the $ but the homecoming or prom outfit cost for one night would cover all those expenses multiple times over. You have to invest in yourself prioritize! @MacStephens
What I love about @Chipperrz_ Twitter Page is that it doesn’t list all his personal accolades. You don’t see 5⭐️ All American, #1 ranked player in Ohio or his national ranking. You see his team. 3x state champs. Don’t make your page about bragging. If you’re good your play talks
Currently having a conversation with a college coach. First question after he tells me who he likes is GPA. Student-Athletes you can’t get around this. Can’t say this enough times. Your hudl link means nothing if you don’t have grades and a qualifying test score. @MacStephens
Only use free recruiting services, do not pay for them. This is what a college coach told me. “I USUALLY DELETE EMAILS FROM RECRUITING SERVICES RIGHT AWAY. THEY HAVE AGENDAS. THEY PUSH KIDS WHO CANT PLAY AT ANY LEVEL BECAUSE THEY ARE PAYING CLIENTS.” @MacStephens
Just spoke with a college coach and they won’t recruit anybody who doesn’t have a 3.0 GPA or better. Many players around the country lose out not based on the hudl link but your grades. Fellas do your work and don’t lose out on opportunities due to your transcript. @MacStephens
