- I am overwhelmed by the wonderful things that have been said by so many online today. Tha day comes when one has to move on - that day for me comes on December 31st. I had no idea of the appreciation of our work on Channel 4News - I am humbled by the comments from so very many.

- I cannot remember a British Prime Minister attracting the scale of all-Party criticism and anger to which Mr Johnson has been subjected in the Commons today - Democracy was well served by the recall of Parliament for him to hear it.
- I can't of course mention Sir Philip Green's name but i can say that he once furiously terminated an interview with me by physically shoving me into the lift in his office and then holding my crew hostage demanding they hand over the tape of it all: They didn't!
