Today is the 5 yr anniversary of my retirement. Corny video of my last moment in my office, where I worked for 7 yrs, and the last day of my 37 yrs with NYPD. My takeaway? Someday you’ll see it wasn’t falling apart - it was really all coming together.

What a peaceful rally looks like. Honored to walk with 5000 people to show our support for police officers and civility. Please be hopeful everyone. This will not turn around tomorrow but it eventually will as every day more voices speak up over the intimidating groupthink

Joe Fox Leadership training tidbit: “Some people just don’t get it!” What does that really mean when we say it? Usually means that we’re frustrated. Slow down a bit, consider that the person we’re leading may be genuinely struggling. Take the time they need. It’s worth the effort

For a couple of hours, time stopped today. God bless “Detective 1st Grade” Jason Rivera. Next week, thousands in blue will line up for Wilbert Mora. I pray that the sacrifice of these two heroes is the catalyst to swing the pendulum back to sanity in our cities. God bless them.
