As a startup founder in 2020 I was under tremendous pressure to ‘publicly support’ BLM to appear anti-racist. I was told that “silence is violence” when I even questioned this pressure. Well, the mask is finally off.

Yesterday we welcomed another baby… and for reasons I can’t quite put my finger on, I’m certain we share a similar sense of humor 😆 Born at 6:16am on 11/11 Welcome to the world, ✨Heather May Hudson✨.

In case it makes anyone on the fence more comfortable with their choice: I’m voting Trump I shed tears when Hilary lost, but would be mortified if KamalaHarris was our first female president The left is lost. I believe in family, in good fiscal policy, in the constitution

There is a child in my belly🤰 May it never live down that mommy ran a company through a global pandemic and had to stay completely sober.

Controversial take: Weekly standing 1:1's with every direct report are largely a waste of time and create bricked out calendar hell as organizations scale.

I’ve recently learned how revolting it is to some people if I frankly say that I’m foregoing career in near term to have babies and spend time with said babies It’s like I’m breaking a social code with ambitious women by not pretending to put family second 🫣🤯

There are fewer Jewish people in the world today than prior to WWII. They lost 20-25% of their people in a genocide <100 years ago and represent just 0.2% of the worlds population now Explain it to me like I'm 5: How does this group not qualify as 'vulnerable' or 'oppressed'?

The world cares less about your successes (and failures) than you think... by a magnitude or two. This isn't sad, it's liberating. Try more stuff.

When I was pregnant with my first kid and CEO of a startup I remember promising I wouldn’t be one of ‘those women’ who love their kids so much they step back from work… to a female VP who was grilling me about it directly I cringe at that convo now… feminism doesn’t support

Planning to homeschool our children, have you pulled your kids out of public school or decided to homeschool from scratch? If so, why? Curious what motivates each person to make this choice.

I really don't care what the cause is, transportation disruption is criminal... Emergency vehicles can't do their jobs = Direct link to loss of life Workers can't get to jobs = Direct economic impact People can't pick up their kids etc = Direct hit to family security

Both directions of the Golden Gate Bridge have been shut down due to a Pro-Palestinian protest. Demonstrators have blocked the southbound direction of Highway 101. This is the second protest causing major back-ups on Bay Area roadways, the demonstration has blocked northbound

Cities that allow grown adults partially clothed to loiter/sleep during the day in/near playgrounds meant for children have such a warped sense of which ‘vulnerable’ classes we ought to be protecting. Kids deserve safe places outside their homes to play in every community

I once didn’t get a job as a salon receptionist and cried in my car because I needed the money. Better things are ahead, keep running 🏃🏼‍♀️
