- Not surprised but impressed to see @jack continually on the frontier. I expect many tech companies will follow. For software, remote work is here to stay. "Twitter Will Allow Employees To Work At Home Forever."
- As Twitter stock continues to climb it’s nice to look back at this moment from 2.5 years ago when @jack donated 1/3 of his shares to an employee pool for recruiting and retention. It was a long road but the team built something bigger 🚀.As for me: I'd rather have a smaller part of something big than a bigger part of something small. I'm confident we can make Twitter big! ✌️

- OH: “Silicon Valley used to be a counterculture. It’s not anymore. It is the establishment. The crypto community is the new counterculture.”
- Observation from a founder: remote work reinforces a strong written culture. This is especially true with teams spread across multiple time zones. You need efficient ways for async communication, so documentation is key. Which companies do this well? Stripe comes to mind.
- Every startup hits a point when you have to start to write things down and define aspects of the business that, previously with a tiny team, are just understood or intuited. Culture is one of those things. (And then you have to figure out how to embed it in everything you do).
