“But there have been other violent protests the past yr.” Yes, but Wed was unlike anything in my lifetime. Why? 1. Place: US Capitol. 2. Instigator: US President. 3. Symbols: Crosses, Nooses, Confederate Flags, “Jesus Saves” signs. 4. Aim: overturn election. God help us.

I’m taking Covid-19 seriously, and CDC instructions seriously, not because I’m afraid of getting it. I’m young, healthy, & in Christ. I’m taking Covid-19 seriously because I’m afraid of distributing it. Love the elderly, the sick, the vulnerable (your neighbor) through this.

In the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, pray for your pastors. They’re facing: 1. Exposure as they visit the ill. 2. Spiritual, physical, & emotional toll as they care for the flock of God. 3. Financial challenge as churches don’t gather & giving lapses. Pastors are heroes.

I appreciate Pastor Warren’s heart 4 the lost & his warm reflections on the SBC. What a sweet moment. I also agree that fighting over the minors is a real threat to us. But I sincerely believe that what’s a church & who’s qualified to pastor it isn’t a minor issue. It’s major.

Please pray for my parents, Ray & Sandra Allen. They are now both hospitalized due to Covid-19, which they’ve had @ 2 weeks. They initially handled the virus pretty well, but have deteriorated the past few days. At this point, their condition is not critical, but is serious.
