The @byte_app is amazing for sharing music loops - look at @shawnwasabi's magic.
He's scrolling through drumbeats on phone #1, melodies on phone #2, and recording on #3.
Magic.
Deploying web apps is so unnecessarily difficult 😕
Putting my apps on a server has been the most frustrating part about building almost all of my side projects yet.
Big news: I’m going to UC Berkeley this fall!!
Very, very excited to start building depth in CS, and hopefully explore many more things (starting with bio and econ!)
Even more excited to hang out with all the awesome Cal people I’ve only met online!
Arc should create a OpenAI residency type program where they take in software engineers and let them rotate between labs.
SWEs get to work on problems in biology + lab productivity almost certainly increases. Eventually creates an incredible hacker culture in the institute!
Reading progress reports from @arcinstitute is inspiring. They get so much done so fast. They're like a startup of research. It must be very exciting to work there.

Happy 2020 everyone!
One of the biggest reasons I feel comfortable fucking around and learning whatever makes me curious + doing whatever makes me fascinated is that I know at least one of my friends is gonna be successful af in 5 years and give me a job if I need it :)
Thank you homies 😌
