My piece for @MiddleEastEye Leicester must be understood not as an isolated clash but as part of a transnational mobilisation of violent ideologies. By turning a blind eye to Hindutva, Britain risks strengthening violent transnational Islamophobia.
Why Britain can no longer turn a blind eye to Hindutva extremism

The man they’re mourning literally invented the modern playbook of using civilians as human shields. He turned his own children into shields and bargaining chips, then sacrificed them for his twisted ideology, all because he believed he deserved to rule a Caliphate.

Who are these people dropping into New York's sewer system? The NYPD are baffled by the motive of the people who enter the sewers, leave no trace and seem to pose no threat to the wider public. trib.al/QQMUO5j

Shahid Afridi was the worst thing that happened to Pakistan cricket. It was his brand of cricket that normalised mercuriality which still haunts PCT.

this petty nationalist wants to say that Karachi doesn’t have pre-partition restaurants/joints (well, there are some) but went to say “Karachi food has literally no history”. Every food he mentioned either came from united India or Central Asia, just adapted local flavours.

Respect your opinion but as I said Karachi food has literally no history, Lahore food giants are stories in itself .. Waris, Jallendhar, Feeqa, Pajha, khan baba are windows to Indian history.. karachi scene is literally a child’s play(بازیچہ اطفال) in front of Lahore culinary
