Trans-identified male cyclist Lesley (Wesley) Mumford was๐ฅ in the women's 40-49 age group (out of 14) and 6/33 for women overall on the 100 mile course. Lesley doesn't know why no one else showed up for the podium! #ThisNeverHappens

- When I decided to start taking HRT with enough testosterone to bring me up to a healthy level of .3 nmoles/l, because of menopause, I knew I couldn't race my bike with the women anymore. I didn't die, it wasn't genocide, my identity wasn't erased, I wasn't eradicated.
- Replying to @jamesstout and @autostraddleOf course you want men included in women's sports. I believe that's call misogyny. The latest science shows that no amount of testosterone suppression mitigates the advantages of being born male. I'll continue to advocate for fairness for women in sports.

Thanks to @usacycling for making sure that talented juniors have to race against men in order to move up the categories in women's cycling.
