When I was 8 mos pregnant I went to the ER w a bad feeling & an ultrasound revealed that my child had died. An OB blamed me for the💀w a circle of nurses listening, and they all laughed. One nurse lied to me about my blood results bc she thought I should induce labor immediately.

Maybe it’s my own survivorship bias in that I’ve never had a mean or bad nurse in any hospital stay, but I wonder if people have considered that perhaps it’s not that the job is filled with mean girl nurses but a large proportion of people have difficulty being patients

Wanna resist now? Start by putting your mask back on. Fascists have already passed several mask bans. If it’s happening under Trump maybe you’ll admit that it being illegal for you to wear a mask during public health, wildfire or environmental emergencies is wrong, & fight it.

The doctor who blamed me claimed that my failure to get a particular 💉earlier in the pregnancy was probably why my babe had died in the womb. I didn’t get the 💉because I am immune compromised and it would’ve been dangerous for both of us. She did this the day after I found out.

Why would anyone think this behavior is OK? Telling a person who just found out their baby has died in the womb and is clearly devastated and grieving that she is to blame? and then all the nurses hanging around with her at the ward desk laughing when she says that?

okay now i’m looking for a new therapist because this woman literally said her biggest therapeutic goal for me is to get me to take off my mask. she asked what that would take and i said it would take covid not being a risk anymore. i am barely surviving i cannot risk long covid!
