Startups for exponential learning and growth. You get to experiment a lot so it’s fast and fun. Big companies for early retirement because you’ll get nothing done and just waste time.

The companies doing layoffs have enough cash to keep those people happy, healthy and compensated for years. There were other motivations behind the cuts. Possibly an overall performance to revenue decline.

I converted a monolith repository to a monorepo (w/ git subtree) - powered by Turborepo, an open-source incremental build system written in Rust and built by @vercel. It was so much fun! Nothing will ever be the same... 🚀
