I teach a course on race in legal history. I always teach Asian American history in that course because you cannot teach serious history of US law as an instrument of racial injustice without the history of Asian Americans...

The Court has NO enforcement power. All of my race and legal history students learn this at the beginning of the term, meaning their power is *only* effectuated through the other branches.

Also... Aretha had 2 children by the time she was 14 years old, dropped out of high school her sophomore year and made it through alcoholism & domestic violence. Genius often (usually) doesn’t look like they say it does. It’s so much vaster and more beautiful than the image.

I'm not sure how anyone watching this debate, regardless of your politics, can deny that Sanders is far more knowledgable and thoughtful than Biden is about the relationship between policy-making and daily living.

It would never EVER occur to me to resent people for being free of the student loan debt burden I carried in my 20s and 30s. I LOVE the idea of freeing as many people as possible from it. For the common good and greater decency.
