    Coleman Hawkins was visibly frustrated in the locker room following the Illini loss, apologizing for letting down the fans, taking blame for some of the teams faults, and added this: "It's not hard to swallow, it's expected when you don't move the ball, when you don't execute."

    Class of 2023 guard Kylan Boswell officially visited Illinois over the weekend, taking in the Illini's win over Northwestern. I talked with him and asked where he is in his decision process. "It would be a blessing to come back and play here."

    Luke Goode had an opportunity Tuesday to step up, and he didn't miss his chance. He was 3-4 from three, and had a career high in minutes (28) and points (9). "The way you get on the court as a Freshman is play defense and work hard."
