I am delighted governments, employers and workers have adopted a new @ilo Convention on Decent Work in the Platform Economy at #ILC2026. We now have the first Convention to focus on the impact of digitalization in the world of work. It shows the vitality of tripartite dialogue.

I welcome Cuba's ratification of the Maritime Labour Convention at #ILC2026. The Convention marks its 20th anniversary this month and it is central to advancing decent work for the world's 1.5M seafarers. Cuba's ratification is an important step in helping achieve that goal.
