Another 900 firefighters have arrived or will be arriving in Sonoma and Napa Counties. They'll bring with them 190 fire engines and 22 dozers. Multiple aircraft have been hitting the fires hard today. Firefighters are coming from all over CA, Oregon, Washington, Nevada & Arizona.

To say 2020 has been a terrible year is an understatement. That said, this year has brought our family hope during some dark times. After a few years of trying, we’ve got some good news. Well, maybe not for Gertrude the Pug. Better days, and a stinky baby boy are ahead in 2021

A bundle of absolute joy. Connor Michael McGuire entered the world at 5:16am on Sunday morn. It was such an incredibly emotional moment for us. 8 pounds, 10 oz. He’s healthy, happy and nursing like a champ. Erika did amazing and is doing well. All are a bit sleep deprived.

Let’s be blunt. The manufacturers had nothing to do with this. They’re capping costs because of the amazing work of @JoeBiden driving a damn good deal that will benefit millions of Americans.

Starting today, all three major insulin manufacturers are offering $35/mo caps on out-of-pocket costs. Also today, they’re cutting list prices by 70% or more - a move that’s expected to *save* them hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

BREAKING: An appeals court just paused the dangerous lower court decision that would have invalidated CA’s life-saving assault weapons ban. Assault weapons remain banned in our state. And it should stay that way. Grateful to AG @RobBonta and his team for their work on this.
