    Cheapest way to start making $$$ with self-storage: 1. Find a prime piece of land 2. Lease it for 5-8 years 3. Get a first right of refusal or option on the property 4. Buy portables in bulk from Storage HQ 5. Set up your storage facility in < 90 days Big. Portable. Energy

    Would you consider gates personal property on a RE transaction? A group we work for closed a deal and the seller took both driveway gates out on closing day….. That’s a first for me.

    Portables are a major self-storage disruptor. 1. Speed to market → can have a fully operating facility in < 90 days. 2. Flexibility → can use the same containers across multiple sites. They’re hands-down the best option out there for covered land plays.

    Unpopular opinion. WFH is going to be the fall of the American office worker. Work from home also means work from anywhere. Competition just got a lot steeper.
