Idk why I’ve been thinking so much about this lately but it is sad that Brian Burke worked for more than a decade towards LGTBQ+ inclusion in hockey to create a legacy in memory of his own child, only to have the NHL and Bettman undo it in under two years

So cute also fun fact! Charles M. Schulz, the creator of the Peanuts, was a huge hockey fan and did a lot to grow the game in Cali! He built a rink, ran learn-to-skate programs & established Snoopy's Senior World Hockey Tournament in 1975 which is still being run to this day!
