I had a guy on the phone asking me to DJ at a house party this weekend for around 30 or 40 people. He became quite irate when I refused.

I've been in the Ulster Hospital all day and will be here overnight. I've been seeing first hand just how talented, dedicated and conscientious every member of staff is. By God, they should all be carried shoulder high through the streets for the job they do.

Dear NHS staff, please do not feel guilty for one moment about taking industrial action. You have been mismanaged, lied to, and used and abused while conditions for you and patients have deteriorated continually. You all deserve medals and our full support.
I had problems with my eyes yesterday morning. I rang my GP who sent me immediately to an optician who then referred me to the RVH. Upshot is, after 24 hours a hole in my retina was diagnosed and repaired by laser.
