Today was crazy and very sad. Our staff is ok, others we know are ok & I hope everyone in attendance will be ok.
We made the decision to head home & I’m hopeful as others make decisions, they do it w/ the safety/well-being of people in mind.

My grandparents were foster parents for Detroit youth who lost their homes & families during the race riots.
My parents worked both campaigns for President Obama.

Blessed to be able to coach a game I love, at a University I love, surrounded by young players/coaches that I LOVE. These women are working their butts off each day.
Whether it's leadership growth, on-court, communication, etc. It's fun to watch.

Championship caliber basketball doesn’t care about “levels”.
Why do people say "just" NAIA🤦♀️🤷♀️? Some athletes CHOOSE to play in that league over NCAA as well as the numerous D1/D2 transferring into it. If an athlete has an opportunity to play & was recruited by an awesome person & the fit is right, don't knock it! It's THEIR choice. 👊
Recruit asked me yesterday what my favorite thing about our team was- I told her “Our personalities. No matter what, win/lose, we have a group that has fun together & genuinely love each other.” That’s real.
