hello covid conscious people who don't really have community anymore after watching everyone you ever loved just go back to "normal" & refuse to keep themselves or anyone else safe like nothing is happening how do you keep going for real? how do you keep wanting to move forward??

people always ask if i'm sick bc of my mask & i always say "no i just don't want to be & haven't been since i started wearing these everywhere for the last 5 years." then they usually tell me they are sick all the time but "just can't handle the masks" & every time i want to cry.

i feel so hopeless to find new community and so heartbroken that my old community turned out this way. i feel so very alone and unable to form real connections with anyone anymore. i don't know how to have any hope for any kind of future when i feel this alone and abandoned.

and for the record i've driven in every kind of traffic imaginable in most states, have spent almost half of my many years driving actually driving full-time for work. i have more driving experience than anyone i know and began learning on empty wyoming back roads at 8. fuck you.

the guilt of not being able to be a better friend to everyone i care about is so overwhelming it eats me alive constantly all i want is to be able to connect again and be there for people but i literally cannot. i am broken. i have zero energy i can put towards it anymore.
