Can't believe there was enough heat to melt the wheels of that car and yet the house looks fine.

Must have been a blow-torch of a firey wind based on the charring on the wall. The combination of wall, design, and luck saved the house.

Retired BEFORE the orders: The Minnesota National Guard also confirmed the outlines of his tenure, saying that Walz served from April 8, 1981, until May 16, 2005. startribune.com/walzs-24-years… The 1/34th Brigade Combat Team received alert orders in July 2005. nationalguard.mil/News/Article/5…

I can't believe My Sister's Keeper got pulled. That was required reading in one of my high school English classes (in a HEAVILY conservative area). Quite a memorable book. And absolutely nothing in that book to support banning it.

It makes sense if you assume that a decade is a smaller unit of time than 3 years

Props to that flight attendant. Clear, direct, calm but urgent.

I got to see this first hand in 2018 when I visited. There was still definitely haze based on the day, and there was a lot of soot on things, but it was *far* better than I had seen in photos and videos from prior years.

Obviously her explanation would be more like: "He's obsessed with working and when he comes home he wants nothing to do with me or taking care of any household responsibilities. I asked him if he could mow the lawn and he flipped out on me, yelling and calling me selfish"

That's why it says proposal and not EO.

*sigh* @Rivian @WassymBensaid I need you to absolutely BLOW UP my phone when charging fails. I just plugged in, watched it ramp up to 200kW and walked away to go shopping. Apparently charging stopped seconds later and our 15 minute stop turned into 30+

Ah yes, because Oz has extensive political experience... And such a strong connection to PA. Run a candidate that doesn't suck.

It was $15k to replace the engine in my moms Lincoln, and $14k for their Chevy.
