I don't know why I never thought about it but @obsdmd is as configurable as neovim. Just make one plugin for yourself and put all your customizations there. I just placed it in my dotfiles like rest of my config and have the little things that I wish plugins did for me.

There's no AI product other than the one's from AI labs that I can think of paying for some day. I don't understand what can they do better because what they do can be done with some prompting.
