I got real excited about the potential for new CANDU plants today after the Bruce Power announcement by Minister @ToddSmithPC to commence pre-project development work with the hopes to build up to 4800 MW of large nuclear.

Poland joins Canada, where this future is being build today. We are strengthening our cooperation for a good and safe future.
- Great opportunity to chat with the Polish PM on the merits of Nuclear, the fact that Ontario’s energy profile is over 90% clean supported by 60% Nuclear. Also discussed the fact that the worlds first BWRX-300 SMR will be deployed at Darlington by 2028 operating in 2029…🇵🇱 🇨🇦 At the beginning of his visit to Canada, PM @MorawieckiM met with Gary Rose, Vice President of New Nuclear Growth for @opg, at the site of construction of the SMR reactor.
