Public officers must always bear in mind the cliche that power is transient. They have limited time to make their modest contributions & bow out for others to continue. No one can annex public office as a personal chattel. That’s why I recoil from the razzmatazz of public office

Arrived my new office punctually this morning, which is key to motivate the workforce. It is a new challenge which I always wanted to experience. Whilst my law offices continue to run at full throttle with capable hands, I take this short leave of absence to serve my fatherland.

The case of Senator Elisha Abbo is very straightforward: the Police MUST IMMEDIATELY take three steps: 1. Arrest him (no formal complaint is needed with the evidence on tape) 2. Obtain his statement (if he’s willing to make one) and that of the victim 3. Arraign him in court.

As we celebrate, I urge that we don’t do so wildly as to put us or others in harm’s way. I also urge all our supporters to be magnanimous in victory and not to taunt those who lost. Those who fought us with ideas are not our enemies. They are just patriots with different ideas.

Fully back to my beat this morning in court. When you are are a professional in politics and not a professional politician, you seamlessly switch to your primary address after discharging your political assignment.

Last Friday, my long-time friends and brothers, the consummate actors, Osita Iheme, MFR and Chinedu Ikedieze, MFR, (otherwise globally renowned as ‘Aki and Pawpaw’) paid me a courtesy call in my office in Abuja.

I regret to announce that my driver, Mr. Yohanna Shankuk, died yesterday in Abuja as a result of the protests. A vehicle that saw advancing protesters at Berger roundabout, made a U-turn, took the one-way back and ran over him as he was making his way on foot to my private office

Now, since they think the issues of Nigeria are three buttons, a pair of sneakers and a long tie, let’s help make them the real issues!

Earlier today, I submitted a petition to the Dept. of State Services (DSS) against Mr. Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed to rein them in for their conducts and utterances which bother on incitement & treasonable felony. A call for peace & national healing does not amount to weakness
