Thread time! Summary: - Sunbird has access to every message sent and received through the app on your device. - All of the documents (images, videos, audios, pdfs, vCards...) sent through Nothing Chat AND Sunbird are public. - Nothing Chats is not end-to-end encrypted.

Ok but... This is such a bad advise? Especially when the NASA already replied to you by saying it could in fact damage phones? I'm super confused right now.
    Tweet from MKBHD:
"I cannot for the life of me find a definitive answer to whether or not pointing a smartphone at the solar eclipse will fry the sensor

Tempted to just take a phone I don't need and point it at the sun for 5 minutes to find out the real answer myself. In the name of science"

Followed by this tweet from the NASA:

"We asked our @NASAHQPhoto team, and the answer is yes, the phone sensor could be damaged just like any other image sensor if it’s pointed directly at the Sun. This is especially true if you’re using any sort of magnifying lens attachment on the phone. You would need to utilize the proper filters just like on any other camera.

The best practice would be to hold a pair of eclipse glasses in front of your phone’s lenses when photographing the Sun at any point other than totality.

Here are more tips on photographing the eclipse: http://go.nasa.gov/499WmtU"

Just pointed my phone camera directly at the midday sun for 5 minute straight. It got a little warm, but... no damage. I'm gonna go ahead and say point your phones at the eclipse tomorrow, it'll be fine 🌞🌚

I just want to clarify something. Sunbird *lied* to Nothing. They said messages were end-to-end encrypted. They were not. Sunbird knew this because they upload stuff to Firebase. Nothing should not just "delay the launch." They should cancel the whole project.

    1. Android *is* easier to use than iOS. I’ve often heard that iOS settings are easier than Android, but it doesn’t feel that way. Messages settings are under apps, Camera is on the main page, Keyboard is under General, and Control Center is back on the main page. Another

Meet the Nothing Phone (2a)! Model: A142. Codenames: Pacman / Aero(dactyl?). Nothing's next phone comes with a Mediatek SoC for the first time. The Mediatek Dimensity 7200. It has 3 Glyph parts, and a brand new design. Launch event at MWC?

Sunbird has access to every message sent and received through the app. They do this by abusing @getsentry, which is used to monitor errors. But Sunbird logs messages, pretending they are errors. Here are part of the requests (img 1, 3) and their entire "message" (img 2, 4)

Google added a new changelog for Bard, and β€” oh boy β€” it's a big one! The availability in Canada is awesome! That said I don't really understand the limitations with the app. That's disappointing as someone who lives in Europe. Oh by the way... gemini.google.com is real.
Unfortunately, this changelog is way too big to fit in the description. However, here are the key points:

Release notes for 02/07:
- Bard is now Gemini
- Try Gemini Advanced to access Google’s most capable AI model, Ultra 1.0
- Chat to supercharge your ideas in the Gemini app
- Now available in Canada
