It’s long past time to bring an end to this farce in the contest. Aside from being morally indefensible it’s also destroying the legitimacy of the voting process. Just get rid of them already.

This is the equivalent of doping in sports and it shouldn't be allowed. In general, paid advertising asking people to vote for Eurovision songs should be either strictly budget-limited or banned entirely.

SCOOP: Ahead of last week's @Eurovision, the Israeli government hired expert(s) to set up voting communities across dozens of countries aimed at pumping up the popular votes for the 🇮🇱 song. The effort was successful as the song won 2nd place in the popular vote.
