I see people advising protesters to “dialogue” with government!? I don’t even know what that means; it’s not dialogue that’s needed ATM, but swift visible action steps by government. People have lost their lives, no senior official has lost his job yet!
Biko Someone please explain how a Nat security council meeting gets to “adjourn” for the weekend and public holidays to resume on tuesday!?

I just hope governments realize that provision of COVID-19 test kits, PPE and isolation centers, not substitute for wholistic health care systems.

Please for friends in Govt, please reframe this from a “Battle Govt must win” see the protests as an Opportunity to sow the seeds of change you promised! Especially for millions of young people who voted in this Govt! Give them their human rights! We all Win!
