Women at my VC firm did not share their pregnancies for as long as possible, because we feared being treated unfairly. When I had a miscarriage, no one at work knew I was pregnant; I went back to work soon afterward and never talked about it there

- TIL @AmericanExpress customer service is terrible. Email replies to [email protected] don't actually go anywhere. They won't honor cancellation requests to their email, but they don't tell you. The number they provide routes you 3x and counting
