When you put on a position, ask yourself these 3 things: 1. Is the general market right? 2. Is this the best stock of its class and 99% of all stocks? 3. What are the 3 reasons on the chart that support buying at this price? You’ll be amazed what happens to your win rate. .

Caution Flags I am Seeing: 1. Breadth deteriorating 2. $VIX elevated 3. NAAIM still frothy 4. Indices not reflecting technical damage in leaders 5. Climax tops in SPACs and other stocks 6. Crap stocks ripping 7. Few sound bases 8. Base breakout failures I am on guard.

My Methods for Portfolio Management During Excess Bullishness: 1. Trim/sell laggards (RS line). 2. Sell losers after 2 days max of being red. 3. Sell lowest % gainers based on time it took to get to that gain. 4. Trim or sell climax tops. 5. Hold winners w/no sell signals.

Something I learned from @brianzinman was the Friday Rule. It’s simply a rule he developed after looking at 30 years of his trading records. Near the close of every Friday, you sell any red positions. Positions that show a loss. For me, I took this rule and now apply it
