    I am reposting this to say,wellbutrin is not just one of the most favored meds by my patients bc it’s weight neutral/negative,energy giving,& has low sexual SE…and IT WORKS… It is also the med I’ve been on since college. And helps me help others. instyle.com/beauty/health-…

    You are angry & frustrated and want to go back to a restaurant or bar. Healthcare workers just want to go back to their old jobs & maybe hug their families and not risk exposing them.... Think about that when you are “over it.”

    I’m afraid the US doesn’t understand where health care workers are mentally at this point in the #COVID19 #pandemic. #MedTwitter can afford to walk away from patient care. US behavior needs to change immediately unless we want to lose front line HCWs in shocking numbers.

    I’m a psychiatrist. If I didn’t see a therapist I wouldn’t be able to see healthcare workers as patients because I wouldn’t be healthy enough to help. Psychiatry supports it, but the system doesn’t, even joking that psych is a weaker specialty, bc..feelings. This needs to change.

    I’m an ER doctor. I’ve seen a therapist and have been on antidepressants. Our system considers this a red flag, instead of a positive signal that I’m taking the best care of myself possible. This needs to change.

    While you watch the map show.... Might I suggest you pause and remember frontline workers are literally dying to save lives from a pandemic that half the country doesn’t believe we need to change or current response to.... Just pause and sit w that for a second #COVID19

    Here’s what I know…. If you disagree with your friend about how “strict they are being” about covid…. If they are your friend, it doesn’t matter. You should do what makes them feel safe. If you can’t see that…that’s what is wrong in the world right now.

    I have been going over&over this in my head(&w/my therapist) for months now….& it’s time I talked about it out loud. I may be open&pro self disclosure& meds, but as it turns out, I carry a lot of self stigma about being on them. Today-I’m done w/that.

    And yet....we rarely talk about healthcare workers dying of #Covid_19 or what is it like for this whole team to take this break (which most don’t get might I add) & go right back to work on other #Covid_19 patients...or go outside and see people flaunting not wearing masks..
