A Maddux is a CG shutout sub 100 pitches. This is not a CG. Do better! :)

I can sense your sarcasm..a CG is one pitcher throwing the entire game, whether 9 innings, 5 innings, or 15 innings.

Whem I coached, my only comment on 3-0 pitches was if it's not a pitch you can hammer, don't swing at it. This is on the pitcher for a) falling behind 3-0 in the first place, and b) grooving the 3-0 pitch, not on Tatis for hitting the shit out of it

The concept of a "combined Maddux" is even more asanine than that of a "combine jo-hitter"...although not by much

First one is really shaky, as it clearly wasn't an attempt to throw to 3rd watching it multiple times (1 time live, it would be hard to tell). 2nd one is clearly malicious & intentional as there wasn't even a hint of a potential play at 3rd

One of the best ever? Come on, let's put a realistic qualification on that statement Is he a stud, yes. Top 100 all time, maybe. Top 50 all time, not even close.

He called it right away. Right or wrong, that's how he saw it and didn't ever from the call

Whether the call was right or wrong is not the issue. If you're too blind or sauced to see what the issue really is, then, you are likely contributing to the problem 🤬

He wouldn't have a next ab if I'm importing the game; he'd be ejected as soon as he crossed home plate for throwing the bat

    1. Masks don't keep that godawful smell out of ones nose. 2. Just bc you don't agree with someone's opinion doesn't mean you should start throwing insults around.

Fielder has the right to make a play in the ball. The runner has to avoid him, not the other way around. That's why the play was killed immediately and Buxton was out for interference

Doesnt matter that the umpire is doing the job that the NCAA asked him to do, I guess. He's just trying to make it about himself by enforcing the rules that are in place..oh wait, isnt he paid to do just that very thing? How horrible!

How can you not give it to the 1b? The ball was in his glove and he dropped it
